Looks like yer gonna git it. Seriously, was that snow from yesterday? This morning? 'Cause we don't have that anywhere near that much up here and I have to take The SB to the airport in an hour or so.
Oh, and of course, I can't sign off without saying how utterly, splendidly, deliciously cute Talk to the Hand Bugs and Fat Max (is he trying to dig OUT?) be in the snow. Cutenss overload.
Dear Moi and a.fanny and any other innocent soul out there who believes in blog purity,
Please accept my heartfelt, sincere, from-the-bottom-of-my-long-monkeylike-toes apology for these horrifyingly misleading pictures. They are from one of last year's gargantuan, mammoth, beastly large snowstorms, not from today, or yesterday, or anytime within the last seven days. Or seven months, for that matter. I did not mean to put worry in your hearts or snow tires on your vehicles. I just thought that Mother Nature might like a little reminder of what she is capable of as she ponders this new storm.
I sincerely hope that my gross overuse of adjectives in this response has reassured you of my good faith. As much as I would like to promise never to mislead you again, I think we all know just what an empty promise that would be.
Yes, he does need some squishing. In fact, hold on a minute, I'll go squish him for you now........mmm, he liked it, but he said he won't be satisfied 'til he gets some squishing from *you.*
And Bugs, well, you know how Bugs is. I tried to pick him up for some cuddling today and he told me to F.O.
here in okrahoma we've been getting 70 sunny degrees one day and 25 with blowing snow the next. this has run through 3 or 4 cycles...this morning, the transition from yesterday's 77 to today's (predicted) 30 was punctuated by an early downpour with copious thunder (at the 45-degree midpoint).
coffee? iced tea? or hot toddy? i am *so* confused.
aj: let's all F.O., shall we? we could do the F.O. dance and direct it to whomever or whatever we like. then we can drink us some dead guy and it'll be just like old times, but better, because we'll have had us an old-fashioned *catharsis.* hey, i'm having one now!

Wow - is that Alba-kyoo-kyoo? Beautiful! If you're that snowed in, Doris Rose must be stranded. Oh well, she loves that!
